Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, launched Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 today with a solemn pledge-taking ceremony reaffirming its commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical governance. The “Integrity Pledge,” organized in line with the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), was administered at the Administrative Building of RINL. The ceremony was attended by Sri Arun Kanti  Bagchi, Director (Projects) & Addl. Charge Director (Personnel), Sri G.V.N. Prasad, Director (Commercial) & Addl. Charge Director (Finance), along with Chief General Managers, senior officials, and employees of the company. This year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” highlights the collective role of every employee in upholding ethical values and building a corruption-free organisation. The Integrity Pledge was administered in Telugu, Hindi, and English, symbolizing RINL’s inclusive commitment to ethical conduct and good governance. Addressing the gathering, Sri Arun Kanti Bagchi emphasized that Vigilance awareness and compliance should be a part of the regular duties of all the employees, transcending Vigilance Awareness Week.  He appreciated the Vigilance Department for its continued efforts in promoting awareness and preventive vigilance measures across the organization. He also appreciated vigilance team for their efforts in implementing various vigilance awareness activities during the Vigilance awareness week and urged all employees to actively participate.
